  • pgcpsparents PGCPS at it again, airing a BOE meeting that took place in the afternoon on a late Friday night. 
    • During the BOE mtg,there was a discussion on public comment and the amount of time alloted to make a statement 
    • I agree with Mr. Cahn, who pointed out that to cut people off in mid statement is very disrespectful. 
    • one BOE member stated that there are school districts that do not have public comment but as typical of this board no mention of which 
    • I think it is time for a new discussion regarding budget and overall relationships with the public
    • I wonder to what extent does the BOE really want the public involved their actions would suggest not. They need real community outreach 
    • Something they have not had in the system for nearly a year. The PGCPS system needs real community outreach. It is time to include parents 
    • I will attempt to watch the re-broadcast of the meeting, if they ever air it again.
    • at least they voted down a policy that requried public comments to be provided within three hours of any BOE meeting
