PG Taxers: Legislators want to raise our taxes

(Posted 11 Mar 2007)
As I predicted on December 19, 2006, the campaign to raise our taxes has resumed. Here is a quick list of Prince George's County Delegates and Senators who are sponsoring bills to raise our taxes.

Note that although most politicians have complained about high gasoline prices, Sen. Miller is sponsoring a gasoline tax increase of over 50%.

Also note that when it comes to titling bills, tax reductions or credits are almost always mentioned in the bill title, but tax increases never are--our elected officials always try to avoid the truth about planned increases by using vague and confusing language.
