Reminder: Anti-democracy legislators responsible for the current school board

(Updated November 20, 2005, originally posted November 7, 2004)
Now that our General Assembly members from Prince George's County are beginning to speak out about problems with their non-elected, unaccountable, patronage school board and its CEO, here's a list of Senators and Delegates who supported this anti-democratic change.

As time permits, I hope to keep a tally of the press reports of statements made by these legislators. It will be interesting to see if any of them publicly accept responsibility for their creation.

Senators:
Delegates:* At the time the elected school board was abolished, Niemann was not in the General Assembly, he was then a member of the former elected school board who favored its abolition.
