Gazette: Sheriff announces run for county executive; Jackson says he has experience, record of reforms

http://www.gazette.net/stories/11272009/prinnew95131_32533.shtml

While the article mentions the Calvo case, it makes it appear to be a single isolated incident and  unfortunately does not mention any of the other cases of abuse by Jackson's stormtroopers, such as the Myers case where they raided the wrong house and shot the dog anyway, and the recent case that resulted in a $261,000 judgment against the county.

The article quotes Jackson as saying "It's time to raise their comfort levels," but how can anyone be comfortable knowing that Jackson believes his deputies have the right to storm and shoot up houses and dogs without bothering to first find out if they have the right house or the accused person?
