PG Delegates join county officials in showing their contempt for the voters and county charter

Prince George's County delegates have now joined county executive Johnson and five council members (see below) in showing their contempt for the will of the voters and the provisions of the Prince George's County charter.  Note that the bill is sponsored not by individual delegates, but by the delegation as a whole.  Some members will probably try to disassociate themselves from this bill by pointing fingers at others, but the delegation is their collective voice and they are all responsible for what the delegation does.

Synopsis:

Providing that, notwithstanding any provision of local law or charter, the homestead credit percentage for Prince George's County for the taxable years beginning July 1, 2009, and July 1, 2010, is 110%.
