• Maryland's sales tax one of the lowest - penny increase keeps us competitive with PA, WV & DC.

Comment:

What nonsense!

Our MD businesses are very competitive with PA, WV & DC because we have lower tax rates.

Gov. O'Malley is saying we should give up that competitive advantage and hurt sales of MD businesses.

Why? Is he that stupid, or does he think we are gullible enough to believe his Orwellian Newspeak?
