  1. You might not be aware of how many spammers get their email addresses, but one way is through computer programs that search out email addresses. Pasting email address like this on the internet is just asking for spam.

    Unfortunately, several blog, web forms, and other software programs enable mailto links which allow the email address to be seen by "robots" also. I try to avoid them as much as possible and use several other methods of sharing email addresses, but I will never copy & paste an address or type my own or anyone else's into a blog.
