Sen. Mike Miller: Anti-democrat

(Posted 29 Jan 2007)
Assembly leaders oppose elected school boards; Many Marylanders are demanding the choice.
Sun, 29 Jan 2007 (Fenton).
. . . Miller called an elected school board "the worst thing that could possibly happen to anybody" and suggested that Busch block efforts in the House.

"If I go to hell, it's going to be because I created an elected school board [in Prince George's County]. It's terrible," Miller said during a radio appearance this month. . . .

  1. Perhaps there should bo no doubt as to where he should go. I am comforted, though, that his displeasure was not all about the board on which I served (the last elected board before this one). As we see what is happening in DC politics, it's about the money and not about the children. We citizens should vociferously challenge those undemocratic ideas and work fervantly to protect our rights to elect or unelect those who serve the needs of our children.
