Attention Candidates

In order to help new candidates for office in the 2006 elections, I am offering to post on my blog and associated Yahoo and Google mailing lists:

• Initial announcements of the candidacy of any non-incumbent running for county or state elected office within the county.
  
  
• Links to their campaign websites.
  

This offer extends to all non-incumbent local candidates, regardless of party, for Council, General Assembly, Board of Education, and other offices, but not to statewide offices (Gov. or Sen.). I've already posted one link for a District 9 council candidate.

I'm also willing to include brief, timely notices of specific campaign events, but not routine non-specific statements of slogans or campaign platforms.
