The Prince George's County Office of Child Support Enforcement is staking a claim to a Maryland first.

The office says P.G. is the first jurisdiction in Maryland ever to collect more than $100 million in child support in a single year.

The collections were made in the Fiscal Year that ended September 30th.

Officials praised the county Sheriff's office for help with collections.
