Homicide on Indian Head Highway in Oxon Hill

Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department has identified the suspect wanted for the shooting death of an Oxon Hill, Maryland man.

The suspect, 21 year old Steven Edward Stewart of the 4300 block of First Street in Washington, D.C., is wanted in connection with the murder of 20 year old Tyrone Jackson who was shot and killed on January 6, 2005 in the 5000 block of Indian Head Highway in Oxon Hill, Maryland.

Steven Stewart is a black male. He is approximately 5’9” and weighs about 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. A warrant is on file charging the suspect with First Degree Murder.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Steven Stewart should call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit at (301) 772-4925. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS. A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect.
