Why didn't the press ask and answer these questions about the investigators?
Is this sloppy or superficial reporting?
Or is it an indication of press bias in favor of Hornsby and/or the non-elected, patronage school board that hired and supervises him?

Great question. And did Dr. Hornsby or the current
school board nominate any of them?

I agree with Maryland State Senator Pinsky. For example, who were the members of this ethics panel? Are any or all of them employees of the Prince George's County Board of Education and supervised, directly or
indirectly, by Dr. Hornsby?

The Post's Nancy Trejos reports that not everyone is satisfied with the results of the investigation."The report ends the school panel's nearly two-month investigation into Hornsby's dealings with vendors, but state and federal agencies, including the FBI, continue to investigate.
"I think there are some unanswered questions that remain," said state Sen. Paul G. Pinsky (D-Prince George's)."
