ELECTED SCHOOL BOARD HEARING AND RALLY

Subject: Fwd: ELECTED SCHOOL BOARD HEARING AND RALLY

Good afternoon. Thanks for the email notification.

The organizational members, parents, guardians and communities of the Mitchellville-Largo-Kettering (MLK) Education Coalition support the goals, objectives and strategies of "Citizens For An Elected Board."

We, in 2004, have said a big "No!" to At-Large, diffuse, and unaccountable County Council representation in 2004.

We are saying a big "No!" to an At-Large and/or appointed School Board, will VOTE for, and implore all citizens and taxpayers to lobby and VOTE for, an elected, single-member district represented School Board in 2006!

The voting rights of the people of Prince George's County are sacred and must remain so. Our Maryland legislators must take immediate steps to restore to parents and communities, our right to vote in 2006.

See you at the rally on Tuesday. Thank you.
