  Suspect Charged in 2003 Landover Hills Triple Homicide
  
  Prince George's County, Maryland…The Prince George's County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has charged Moises Medina, 29, in connection with the murders of three men that occurred in Landover Hills in 2003.
  
  After a six year investigation, homicide investigators developed Medina as a suspect in the murders. An arrest warrant was obtained for Medina on November 13, 2009. On November 18, 2009 Medina was removed from the Western Correctional Institute where he was serving a sentence for an unrelated homicide and taken into custody by the Prince George’s County Police. He was charged with three counts of first degree murder and remanded to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections where he is being held on a No Bond status.
  
  On April 8, 2003 at approximately 1:35 a.m., officers responded to the Stardust Inn located on the 7500 block of Annapolis Road, Landover Hills, Maryland for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found three victims with gunshot wounds. Francisco Javier Ornelas, 30, of the 5600 block of 8th Street in Alexandria, Virginia, Noe Ornelas-Cruz, 22, and Robert Roman Jr., 19, both from the 7700 block of Garrison Road in Lanham, Maryland were pronounced dead on the scene.
  
  “I am extremely proud of the persistence of our detectives while conducting this investigation,” said Chief Roberto Hylton. “It doesn’t matter how old a case may be. The bottom line is that if you commit crimes in Prince George’s County, we will find you and bring you to justice.”
